14 Year Old Girl Found Dead Killed By Dogs
14 year old Jade Anderson was found dead yesterday after been mauled to death by aggressive dogs which were out of control. Jade went to visit a friend when this incident happened.
Jades friend said Jade was eating a meat pie and then one of the dogs came close to eat with her, but Jade drew it away from the dog. Then the dog went for her neck before three other dogs aggressively started biting her leg.
Armed policemen shot four dogs said they were out of control and aggressive. But there was still one alive which they said was secure. The dogs were owned by Beverley Concannon, whose son posted a message on Facebook saying: "Can't believe that my mum's dogs have killed a 15-year-old." Two bull mastiff and two other bull terriers were shot by the police men.
Jade was a pupil at the Fred Longworth High School in Tyldesley, Manchester who was only visiting her friend.
Superintendent Mark Kenny of Greater Manchester Police said: "First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family of the girl who has tragically lost her life.
"I understand this is an extremely distressing incident for all concerned, including the community, and we will work hard to establish the full circumstances that led to this tragedy." He also said here would be a "significant" police presence in the area while police investigated the incident.
There are online tributes to Jade on social media websites posted by friends.
Her friend Ellie Morris wrote on Facebook: "Can't believe this has happened. My best friend dead, miss you so much baby girl, my princess. Love you so much, can't believe this has happened.
"You always called me your little sister, told me you will be there for me through thick and thin? Love you baby girl, thinking of you, RIP Jade Anderson, love you."
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs estimates about 210,000 people are attacked by dogs in England every year.
